Attendees should have completed any one ofthe following Altivar courses (VFDA6642),(VFDA5842), (VFDA7142), (VFDA3142), or have equivalent experience as well as basic Microsoft Windows™ navigation skills.
Objectives: Upon completition of this course the student will have the skills to:
- Identify the different methods of communication and protocols used by Variable Frequency Drives products and their common use
- Configure communication links with devices such as human machine interfaces and programmable logic controllers
- Use communication links to control a drive and display its status and fault
